The SEO Brief (theseobrief.com) and The SEO Brief connector for Claude are run by The Brand Monarchy, the company behind AI SEO Crew. This page explains what we collect and why. Questions: hello@theseobrief.com.

Reading the website

We don't use advertising cookies or sell anything about you. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, page requested, browser) for security and to keep the site running.

The Claude connector

The connector lets an AI assistant such as Claude search our guides, check a page for a search phrase and run SEO audits. Some things to know:

• Guides and keyword checks work without an account. We log that a tool was called, when and whether it worked. We don't keep the URLs or phrases you send to these tools.
• Full audits need an account. The SEO Brief signs in with an AI SEO Crew account, so your account is stored by AI SEO Crew under its privacy policy. We keep a record of each audit (when it ran and whether it worked) to apply the free audit allowance and to fix problems.
• To audit a page, our server downloads that page and the site's robots.txt, sitemap.xml and llms.txt, the same public files a search engine reads. We don't store the page's content.
• We only receive what the assistant sends to our tools. We never see your conversation with Claude, and we don't use anything you send us to train AI models.

Payments

If you start the AI SEO Crew plan, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

How long we keep it

Call logs are kept for up to 12 months. Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted when you close it, except where the law requires us to keep invoices.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, or disconnect the connector at any time from Claude's settings. Write to hello@theseobrief.com and we'll answer within 30 days.
